Yamaha DX7II FD with Travel Case
Works Great!!
About This Keyboard
This DX7II FD is in excellent condition with only a few small scratches here and there. Every button and slider that I could figure out how to test worked just as they should and the floppy drive is in good working order but we didn't have a cartridge to test that slot with. The display screen is bright and clear, there are no broken or chipped keys and they all play just as they should. It's a very nice travel case with plenty of room for pedals and other equipment.
The DX7IID and DX7IIFD (pictured) models also added bi-timbrality with keyboard split and layering capabilities. This allows two voices to be layered in dual mode, providing very rich combinations of sounds that would otherwise be impossible with the original DX7. Voices could also be split across the keyboard, for a two part multi-timbral performance capability; again, impossible with the original DX7 (or the DX7S, as the S stands for single timbre).
The DX7IIFD added a Floppy Drive (that's what the FD stands for) offering one megabyte of memory space (equal to 40 RAM cartridges) for thousands of voices, fractional scaling, SysEx data and more.
We will do our best to accurately describe the item in the listing but, unless otherwise noted, all items are used and should be expected to show varying levels of wear and tear from regular use. We only test to the level of our ability so some functions could be defective without our knowledge. Please feel free to email any additional questions. All keyboards are guaranteed to be non-doa but are otherwise non-returnable unless approved by customer service. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. We ship only within the contiguous US and shipping carriers may vary depending on your location.
It is important to remember that when buying a used keyboard it may not operate or look exactly like a new one. Used keyboards develop wear over time that can cause such items as function buttons, knobs, sliders etc. to fail to operate as smoothly or easily as when they were new. Our technician does check these items and if they are deemed unusable they are replaced but some function buttons may require more pressure or manipulation to make the appropriate changes. Cosmetically your used keyboard may have scuffs, scratches, cracks to plastic pieces, discolored keys or other visual impairments that might not show up in the photos. We try to mention any obvious visual imperfections but may not consider them serious enough to post in the listing.
