Yamaha DX7 With SuperMax Expansion
Works Great!!

About This Keyboard

This DX7 is in good good working order but just fair cosmetically. Everything that I know how to test seems to be in proper working condition but we aren't experts on this model. The screen is bright and clear and there are no broken or chipped keys and they all play just as they should. Cosmetically it has scuffs and scratches along with a damaged right endcap. Remember, this one includes the SuperMax expansion which offers everything show below.

SuperMAX Features

 Memory Expansion: Sixteen banks of 32 patches equaling 512 patches

total. Two banks of "factory" patches are included.

 Voice Stacking: You can stack and detune two, three or four voices of the

same patch. You then have a choice of 16x1, 8x2, 5x3 or 4x4 polyphony.

The detuning can provide chorus effect and/or chording and/or octaves

(for example).

 Voice Delay: Add additional notes of the same or different pitch, delayed

from 10ms to 10s for each note you play.

 Arpeggiator: You can predefine 32 types of arpeggiation over part or all of

the keyboard.

 Sound Creation and Morphing: New patches can be developed and

existing ones can be selected live by pitch/mod wheel, velocity, random,

 Temperament: You can predefine 4 different keyboard tunings.

 Programmable master volume.

 Programmable keyboard zones, MIDI zones and MIDI channel.

The SuperMax manual can be downloaded online.

It is important to remember that when buying a used keyboard it may not operate or look exactly like a new one. Used keyboards develop wear over time that can cause such items as function buttons, knobs, sliders etc. to fail to operate as smoothly or easily as when they were new. Our technician does check these items and if they are deemed unusable they are replaced but some function buttons may require more pressure or manipulation to make the appropriate changes. Cosmetically your used keyboard may have scuffs, scratches, cracks to plastic pieces, discolored keys or other visual impairments that might not show up in the photos. We try to mention any obvious visual imperfections but may not consider them serious enough to post in the listing.
